The idea for Requestit.ca was born from personal experience. In my early teens, I used classified ad sites like Craigslist and Kijiji to make my first bit of money. It was my first taste of independence and sparked my entrepreneurial spirit. However, over the years, these platforms became saturated with businesses rather than community members, and scams became prevalent.
That’s why we created Requestit.ca. We wanted to create a platform that puts the community and buyers first. By allowing users to post ads for what they need, we give power back to the buyers and provide sellers with the opportunity to fulfill those needs. It’s a win-win solution for everyone.
